9 Squared Launches Promotion with Target Retail Stores
Displays Allows Customers to Purchase Ringtones While Shopping
Denver, Colorado - September 1, 2006 - 9 Squared, Inc., the leader in mobile media solutions, is set to launch a nationwide in-store ringtone promotion which allows customers shopping for CDs in Target Retail Stores to download real music ringtones.
The promotion will take place within the music section in nearly 1500 Target stores nationwide and run from mid-September through October, 2006. Point-of-sale print displays will let users know that by using a shortcode transaction on RingToneJukeBox.com, they can easily and conveniently order music for their mobile phones. Additionally, a call-to-action will be strategically placed in front of the selected artists’ slot in the merchandizing racks inviting the customer to download hit music featuring Universal Music artists, Rick Ross’ "Push It" and Fergie's "London Bridge".
"This collaboration with Target opens the door to high-impact promotions with one of the nation’s most powerful music retailers," said Ted Suh, Chief Marketing Officer at 9 Squared, Inc. "We're honored they chose us to partner with on their first foray into the mobile space."
